Crawfish update

This place is prime right now! super fast, just enough moisture to keep the dirt from gettin loose. mmm.. Rhys and I did a non stop run, wish I had a run like that for 'the classic'
that reminds me, it must be comin up this summer..

anyways it was definately a day of learning.. bout tire pressure, how a bar/stem fits perfectly where goggles Should be. ( I feel like someone punched me in the fucking  nose), and knowing when its time to call it. I was accosted by a squirrel, two bees and a particular root, nature was obviously trying to tell me something.

Willamette Pass was absolutely Poifect! not much snow, lots of moisture in the turns and trees, lots of new rocks and some super beat up, semi- fresh trail made for premium big bike shreddage. Held a mini demo day with the help of some good friends and rattled the new bike to death! Pretty much blown away by how the 6' bike handeled it. Way more fun on an m6 or v10, I can tell you firsthand!
so this sunday is gonna be a toss up.. either post canyon, Hood River or Big Willy again. We'll see what happens. Either way you should see some new pics soon!
                                                                                                                                  Peace

Ruben and Joe on a train

Due to my new found fondness of traveling with bike by train, and some of the best riding ever captured on film, this was an instant favorite.

U.S. of A.

Just saw that AMERICAN Duncan Riffle from Santa Barbara just won the first round of the IXS european downhill cup, following his 2nd place in winterberg, Germany a week earlier.  Duncan, just like Kyle Straight, Aaron Gwinn, and Cody Warren are raking in great results from all over the world.  With consecutive top 20's and nearly breaking into top 10, this is already the best season for american racing over seas in about 10 years!
highlights include:

  Kyle 11th at Le Bresse.

  Duncan 12th at Peitermaritzberg.

  Cody 17th at Valnord.

Aaron Gwinn 16th at Valnord, 14th in Le Bresse and 17th at Peitermaritzberg! already a regular at world cup top 20's and its his 3rd year racing mountain bikes.

and theres still Fort Bill this weekend, Bromont, Maribor, Champery and Shladaming to go. Worlds is in there somewhere at Canberra.
Go Team America!

Our Trails

Are the best.  I finally got some footy together from the jam.
This place is so much fun, everyone had a great time and only three people went to the hospital! ( no serious injuries). Now a couple bangers for your eyeballs.

Im lookin forward to a sweet day at the trails today, filmin with P Dirt.
